What Do I Do After Being Dumped

If you find yourself having been dumped, you may not know what to do. We grow up never having been taught this relationship stuff, especially the break up part so we have to rely on intuition or instincts to get through it. So now you are in a break up situation and you are not sure what to do.

I can tell you that for sure the first thing you must do is walk away from your ex as fast as you can. don’t even begin to talk them into coming back to you or calling them constantly trying to find out the problem. It would be best to leave everything behind you for now and deal with it later, like maybe three or four weeks out.

That may not be what you want to hear but it is good advice. If you keep pursuing your ex you will only push them further from you and you may even be tagged a stalker at the worse. And you should expect the same from your ex, they should leave you alone.

You need to take this time to get over what has just happened so you can get back to rational thinking, something you may not have right now. A break up can be a very emotional time and you need to heal yourself mentally and physically so you get back to normal.

You do not want to sit home thinking of what to do about your ex, don’t think about it now, save it for later. Get out and enjoy yourself with your friends and family. Meet up with friends you have not seen for awhile and have fun. Getting out like this will be the best medicine you can take to get past this break up.

Later when you begin to feel better about yourself can you start to put the pieces together and decide if you want to get your ex back. At this point you can have a good idea of what you want. If you decide to get your ex back, try reading one of the books about making up so you get some proven methods to help you.
